Found Dog

Merilin, ( a doll named after a dear friend.  Yes, there is also a Melinda!) Granny and Susan took a stroll in the back of the property and came upon a wonderful golden fur child.  He didn't have tags so Merilin assumed it was a stray.

Merilin was tired and said, " I need to sit down."
To her delight, the dog sat down too.
"He must be a trained dog.  He would make Lester a great service dog. Too bad he had to lay down."
As soon as she said the words, lay down, the dog did it.

" I want to keep him," Merilin exclaimed.
"We should run an ad in the paper for a found dog,"  Granny warned.
But Merilin wasn't paying attention to Granny.

" Can you sit up and beg?"  She asked.
Once again, the dog was glad to respond.

Merilin realized she hadn't eaten lunch and she got a bit light headed and passed out.

The wonderful dog gently laid on her and licked her face until she came to.

" He must be someone's lost service dog!" Granny exclaimed.  "Just look at how he reacted to Merilin passing out with her low blood sugar.  Someone must be missing him.  We have to find his owner."
